Kicking off the festivities this year is Sean Baker's Palme d'Or winning ANORA, a cracked-out Cinderella story between a Brooklyn sex worker and the son of a Russian oligarch. Other highlights include: A REAL PAIN, the Sundance sensation starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin about two mismatched cousins reckoning with their family history; THE ROOM NEXT DOOR, Pedro Almodovar's lavish English-language debut, starring Oscar-winners Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton; BETTER MAN, a dazzling and singular profile of British pop superstar Robbie Williams - with a monkey in the lead role; CONCLAVE, a papal pulp thriller carried out with immaculate execution and career-high work from Ralph Fiennes; and EMILIA PEREZ, a swaggering musical crime thriller of genre-bending fascination from renegade auteur Jacques Audiard.
